Gift Xchanger: Privacy Policy

iColasoft, LLC ("we", "us", or "our") built Gift Xchanger as a commercial application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

Gift Xchanger stores the following data locally on your device using UserDefaults:

• Participant names you enter
• Exchange history (matchup results and dates)
• Exclusion rules
• App preferences (budget amount, selected app icon)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including:

• Screen views and feature usage
• App launch and session information
• Device type and operating system version

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports help us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device state information, but do not contain personally identifiable information.

Subscriptions

Gift Xchanger Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles your purchase data.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require or collect personal accounts, email addresses, or passwords
• We do not collect or store names you enter in the app on any server
• We do not share any data with third parties beyond the anonymous analytics described above
• We do not use advertising or ad tracking

Data Retention

All participant data (names, history, exclusions) is stored only on your device. You can delete this data at any time by using the Reset function in the app or by deleting the app from your device.

Children's Privacy

Gift Xchanger does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
